Even though she was born a bird of
prey, Clarissa refuses to hunt and eat
field mice and bunnies for dinner. She
instead prefers fresh scones, bacon and
hot tea. She is particularly fond of
Amelia Earhart, the famous female
pilot who disappeared on her
courageous round the world flight.
Clarissa sports the leather flight
helmet, goggles and aviator gloves of
her heroine. Needless to say, none of
this makes her very popular with her
raptor friends. They think she's plain
strange. But does this bother Clarissa?
Heck no! She has lots of friends
(including field mice and rabbits) and
can be found buzzing the skies above
us visiting them and making new ones.
